Dry Installation Instructions for Vinyl Overlays

This product is designed to be installed without the use of any liquid. The material is repositionable and can be removed, reapplied, and stretched for proper fitment.

  1. Thoroughly wash your hands.
  2. Roll film in opposite direction of packing to flatten it out and make it easier to work with. Waves and light creases are completely normal and will NOT be visible when applied.
  3. Wipe the area and all surrounding areas clean of any dust wax or silicone.
  4. Remove the vinyl from the backing and roughly align it on the panel were it is to be applied. Be very careful not to tear or excessively stretch the film while repositioning it.
  5. Align one of the areas to the best of your ability, with that area aligned you can now lift the film from the other areas and begin to align them.
  6. Use your fingers to gently lock the film in to place with medium pressure.
  7. If there are any contours on your panel, do those at the very end. You will need a heat gun or a blow dryer to warm the film making it more pliable. Focus on the edges first to ensure a proper fit.
  8. If you get bubbles or creases, lift the film and warm the film. The crease or bubble will disappear and you can re-apply.
  9. If needed, peel the film off and start over till you get it right.
  10. If the panel is not flat, you will need to work the film around any curves with your fingers. simply press the film along the curves and it will stick.

Upon receiving an order, our team initiates the fulfillment process by generating a shipping label. It's important to note that the printing of the shipping label does not necessarily mean that the item has been shipped; it signals the beginning of the fulfillment journey.

USPS Drop-off

Within 24 hours of generating the shipping label, we ensure that the packages are dropped off at the nearest USPS facility. While we make every effort to expedite this process, please be aware that the initial tracking information may not be immediately reflected on the USPS website.

Tracking Delays

USPS may not immediately update their tracking system to reflect the receipt of the packages. In some instances, it may take up to 5 days for movement to be visible. This delay does not imply that your package is stationary; rather, it might skip the intake scan for various reasons.

Shipping Beyond Our Control

Once the package is in the hands of USPS, the shipping process is beyond our control. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding during this period. USPS may experience occasional delays or anomalies in their tracking system, but rest assured that your order is in transit.
